Benefits of Membership
I understand that your time is precious. It is daunting to pack up the kids only to sit in a crowded waiting room full of coughing, sneezing people for an hour to see your physician. Or perhaps your work is overwhelming, no time to get away, and you find that you neglect your health as a result. Or, you or a family member have a complicated medical history, and need more comprehensive care than you’ve been able to find in the traditional model of 15-minute office visits.
With this membership model, you have access to me, your physician, no matter where you are — at home, at work, in your assisted living community, or in my Alameda-based office. Free email consultation and online scheduling can also make your life easier.
To help provide these and other services not covered by health plans, I ask that members support this model with a fee of $50 per month = $600 annually – $167/mo = $2000/yr (greatest need for services not covered by insurance).
I think you’ll find that this fee is worth the hours and money you’ll save, and the knowledge that you’re being followed by a physician who knows you well and cares about you:
Appointments That Fit Into Your Schedule
You can’t predict when you’ll be sick! That’s why I offer same-day appointments, before and after-hours availability, and weekend access when I am available.
No Long Wait Times
Visits will start and end on time, and can even be scheduled at your home, assisted living, or office. That means you don’t have to take a day off just to see the doctor.
Fewer Visits
Not everything you need requires a doctor visit. By consulting with me online, by phone, or via email, you save money on unnecessary deductibles and appointment costs.
Prevention
In a traditional 15-minute visit, many physicians do not have the time to explain your illness or why a particular medication is recommended over another. As a result, you may leave your appointment uneasy, and less willing to follow through with the plan, even though it may be the right plan for you. This model allows for the time to answer all of your questions in a non-rushed environment. If any questions arise after the visit, you are welcome to contact me to discuss them further.
This ease of access will hopefully encourage you to speak freely, and speak up earlier about your ailments. By catching things early, we, as a team, can help prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and the fees they incur.
